This is now the 7th visit to Teal Park and by ensuring that I stick to the brief of capturing the ongoing development of the site, it also allows me to also try to get some creative documentary style shots.

Willow Park Housing Youth Conference April 2012

On Thursday was the Willow Park Housing Trust Youth Conference, where they had a range of activities and information. Jimmy Eagan's boxing academy was on hand to give out the boxing tips and people could also try there luck on a mechanical bull. Wythenshawe Games Committee had competitions for tennis and football skills and local DJ's were in attendance to demonstrate scratching techniques and beat mixing skills.

Performances by the local sixth form drama group and a video diary survey where other highlights.

Jazzy J

Jazzy J's is a community group that teaches street dance to children of all ages. Recently they lost their rehearsal space and after a chance discussion with the Wythenshawe Town Centre Manager, Victoria Nichol they where soon able to make use of a vacant office space in the town centre. With fundraising efforts and help from the local community, as well as Wilkinson and St. Modwen they have been able to transform a vacant dentists into a place that enables them to continue to, take it to the street.

AUD Architects

I wanted to try a classic techinque called exposure blending and this scheme for AUD Architects was a great opportunity to try it out.

A new florist, Majong Flowers opens in the completed Etrop Court Development in Wythenshawe.
